Ralph Eichler, MLA for Lakeside, with Chuck McClure of South West District Palliative Care and Jim Penner of the Interlake Community Foundation. Each June, these are the partners that put on the Ralph Eichler Charity Golf Tournament. The 2016 Tournament had a net profit of $6896.05 which was split evenly between the 2 nonprofit organizations. Next year’s tournament will be on June 16, 2017 in Teulon. The SWDPC and the ICF thank Ralph for his many years of support. They also thank our wonderful communities for the continued support. Please check back for a link on how to register coming this winter.

INVEST IN THE FUTURE OF YOUR COMMUNITY AND REGION FOREVER!
The Interlake Community Foundation (hereafter referred to as "the ICF" and/or "the Foundation")provides the citizens of Rockwood, Rosser, Stonewall, Teulon and Woodlands with the opportunity to invest in the future of their community and region forever. The Foundation pools gifts in a capital fund that remains in perpetuity providing citizens with a means of permanently endowing their region and helping to shape its future. Your gift is never “spent” or “used up”. The income generated from the capital is distributed as grants to registered charities in the region.
Earnings are allocated to encourage and support charitable projects in the areas of:
Community Services - Arts and Culture - Education - Heritage and the Environment - Health and Medical Services - Recreation and Sports - Youth and Senior Programs
Organizations apply for grants to fund local projects. Having established broad and flexible criteria, the Foundation can support innovative activities that might not be funded in any other way. Deadline for applications is February 28th of each year. Successful applicants will be notified by April 30th.
