The Michael A. Lindell Automotive Scholarship Fund began in 2004. Michael passed away as a result of an automobile accident and would have graduated in 2004. His parents, Terry and Fran, and brother Charles started the fund after the concept was proposed by classmates and friends of Mike. There have been several car “Show and Shines” and other community fundraisers, as well as individuals who donated to the fund.The award goes each year to one or two graduates of Warren Collegiate who are planning on entering the automotive trades, engineering or technical sector.
