Abby Lee Anne Margetts passed away in a tragic accident in January, 2019. Her parents, Amanda and Ryan, have decided to create a permanent legacy to honour her memory in the Abby Lee Anne Margetts Memorial Fund. There will be an annual scholarship called the Abby Margetts Memorial Arts Scholarship to a graduating student at Warren Collegiate. The winning student must be involved in the area of visual arts, choral music, culinary arts or dramatic arts. The winner must be proficient, dedicated and skilled to excel. The first award will be made in June 2019.
